This year’s Autumn Congress took place in the beautiful city of Budapest. The Autumn Congress is one of the most important events in EESTEC where representatives of all LCs gather to decide on the future of our association.
The program was pretty intense, we had General Meetings during the days where we discussed important matters of our association and also joyful evening programs. For example, the international teams and projects presented their accomplishments from the past 6 months, we elected a couple of important positions inside the association, we discussed proposals for changes to our official documents, more details about the upcoming Spring Congress in Athens were published and much more. We also had a couple of working sessions in which we together came up with new ideas and approaches to solve some of our internal challenges.
We didn’t just work this week, but we also managed to meet great students from all over Europe and create some new friendships. The evening programs included one Hungarian night with traditional music and dances as well as one international night during which everybody presented food and drinks from their hometown.
After an exhausting but amazing week, we finally got the time to visit the nicest spots of the city during the weekend. We had an incredible time there and we would like to encourage you to join us for the next EESTEC event!
