The “Beauty and the Beach” exchange was located in Kotor, a small historical city in Montenegro. We didn’t stay only there, LC Podgorica organised many trips to other places during that week.
The exchange started with a beer festival in the evening since some participants arrived later. There we got to know each other in a cosy way. From that evening on we spent together some awesome days discovering the beauty of Montenegro!
What I really liked is that we always found some time to go to the beach although we had every day a full program. Besides that, the organisers managed to keep us all feeling comfortable.
The most interesting place for me was Mount Lovćen National Park and Cetinje where also the Mausoleum of Njegoš (famous poet and philosopher) is located. From there we had an amazing view of the landscape and of course, we didn’t forget to take some pictures together!
For me, it was a great experience staying with so many people from all over Europe and discovering a country with locals! I can definitely recommend it to everyone!
