50 EESTECers from all over Europe gathered for a week in Zurich to represent their universities at the Autumn Congress 2K21. After 26 years, the event was hosted by EESTEC LC Zurich again. The general assembly took place alongside joint activities with AMIV, the local student association for engineering.
As it has become tradition, EESTEC LC Zurich organised another iteration of the annual skiing weekend. Over the weekend of 21st to 23rd February 2020, a total of 46 students were hitting the slopes in Klosters/Davos. Leaving early Friday morning, we enjoyed 2 days of wonderful skiing weather!
No matter how much experience an EESTECer had with Linux, this was the perfect workshop to dive deeper into the world of GNU Linux. In EESTEC LC Zurich’s workshop Compile Ur Machine!, we got a kick start into the amazing world of Linux and received insights even into the kernel.
We would like to introduce you to the world of high-altitude ballooning. During the workshop, we will assemble weather balloons and send them to the stratosphere – almost to space.
EESTech Challenge is a brand new competition organised by EESTEC. This year’s topic is Supervised Machine Learning and the challenge will be executed as a 24-hour Hackathon.
